Kendal Community Theatre

MANIFESTO

Kendal Community Theatre is open to all with an interest in exploring a wide, and radical, range of performance styles. It is a group of individuals with a broad range of experience, or none. Kendal Community Theatre seeks to work with schools, community groups – especially organisations supporting inclusion and vulnerable adults and young people. Kendal Community Theatre is supported by the Brewery Arts Centre, the Dukes Playhouse, Castle Street Centre Community Association, Churches together in Kendal and District and Manna House and has received offers of sponsorship from a number of local businesses. Kendal Community Theatre also seeks to establish supportive relationships with local and district councils.

Kendal Community Theatre seeks to present more performances. Following A Passion for Kendal, April 2012, future plans could include community projects; theatre tours to local pubs; Street Theatre shows; theatre-in-education.
